101 Medicaid Fraud
The 101 Medicaid Fraud Training Program is a three day program. This program is mainly lecture driven and designed for new employees. It includes an overview of the MFCU program and federal policies and regulations that govern MFCUs. The course also provides instruction on; provider fraud schemes, using the team in Medicaid fraud cases, special ethical issues for MFCU employees, resident abuse investigative techniques, fraud in institutional settings, managed care fraud, case studies, medical record review, working with claims data, and developing and organizing evidence and exhibits in health care fraud cases. NAMFCU offers this introductory course two to four times per year.
